I met and began working with Wade Parton at or near the end of his junior year of high school. We worked together through his senior year; during this time Wade made great progress.

Wade successfully auditioned for and performed with the Knoxville Jazz Youth Orchestra during his senior year. Wade made friends readily within the KJYO and was respected by the other members.

He matured into a player who was truly ready for the challenges which would await at the next level. -Tom Lundberg, Director of the Knoxville Jazz Youth Orchestra

Wade is a gifted trombonist who excels in jazz and classical music. He is a crossover musician that can adapt to any style making him a valuable musician at the Conservatory.
